Advancements and Developments in Real Estate

January 30th, 2010

Telluride Properties or Telluride Real Estate has seen considerable growth in the past few years. The basic amenities of life are food, clothing and housing. Since the last decade, housing has become the focal point for the business community and this has made real estate a booming industry. There has been a significant shift in the mind-set of the common man and he wants a house of his own. The earlier “once a tenant, forever a tenant” psychology has given way to “be the proud owner of an apartment”. It has become a sort of status symbol to own an apartment, though you may have your own house. This has been complemented with an ever increasing pay-packet of the white-collared middle-class and home-loan industry, that has made buying a home not” an end-of-career and after-retirement option”, but a “here and now” possibility.

Real estate has acquired a corporate identity, with the big players of business coming on the board. The big names have led to the growth of brands. Along with the construction of the building façade, the interiors have also been a determinant in choosing an apartment. This has led to an endless possibility of rearranging of the living space. The living rooms have become the new havens of tranquility and style.

The arrangement of furniture and space determines whether it is modern and Spartan or retro and classical. With the change in the lifestyles of the new generation, the segmented spaces are out, the studio is in. The kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom have also become areas of individuality, rather than being just utilitarian. The industry has catered to the needs of this upwardly-mobile and fashion-conscious man.

The resurgence of the real estate has also spawned an ancillary industry. The shopping malls and retail outlets are becoming the one-stop site for the consumer. The real estate has also brought in the banking sector, within its ambit. Buying a house is not a distant dream, but just a call away. You fill in the forms, the house is yours. Now, you go to the retail arm of the real estate and deck up your dream home. The real estate looks after you, right from the inception to the latest design fad for the furnishings and the floor.

Nowadays, the duplex has become a standard architectural necessity. The retail estate, in its latest avatar is selling a complete package to the buyer. The ambiance, the surroundings and location is sold aggressively. You find different versions-one of them says that the particular condoville has teachers, doctors, lawyers and the list goes on. The idea is to create an exclusive communal space; while another gives concessions to senior-citizens. Yet another advertises the proximity to the airport or the metro. Some sell their sylvan surroundings, while others speak of the heritage and culture of the place. Some have shopping malls, international schools, swimming pools, spas and the multi-purpose gym. In-house recreation spaces and entertainment zones have been created, keeping in mind the stressful lives of the inhabitants. Some of the properties are selling a Wi-Fi environment for the techie, while a promenade is also thrown in for the elderly. In today’s real estate boom, you are spoilt for choice, but the dream-ride of real estate has just begun.

Connor R. Sullivan considered purchasing several Telluride properties last summer before the recession. He considered purchasing a parcel of Telluride real estate and was thrilled with the available properties.
